           As the energy center of power plant and substation, DC system provides reliable DC power for control circuit, signal circuit, emergency lighting circuit, relay protection device, automatic device and inverter power supply, which plays an important role in ensuring the safe operation of all primary and secondary equipment in substation. The battery is one of the core components of the DC system. When there is a big accident in the power grid, the DC system will be powered by the battery discharge. Therefore, the reliable operation of the battery will be the last protection line in the whole DC system.
          The traditional battery has many shortcomings: too many batteries in series charging, it is easy to appear the problem of uneven charge and discharge of each battery; the battery in series operation, the consistency of the battery monomer is very high; the battery in series can not carry out online capacity checking and online replacement maintenance. In order to solve the above problems, a scheme of DC system using battery parallel power supply is proposed. The parallel battery scheme makes the battery life longer, the operation and maintenance cost lower, and the reliability higher.
